About Us

Hola!

My name is Katie, and my fiance's name is Tim. We are high school sweeties and have been together just about 10 years now. Our pup's name is Finley, but he also goes by many nicknames, Finner-do, Fin man, Finnagin, to name a few :)

We started this blog to share our experiences with first time homeownership. We are making many low cost improvements to our home and I thought it would be beneficial to share our ideas with others.  I love decorating and being creative with furniture pieces. There are so many ways to re-purpose an item of furniture with a simple coat of paint or fabric.
